Burchell’s Plain Zebra Shoulder Mount Taxidermy

I finally got around to working on some of my own animals. This stallion was hunted on my trip to Namibia in 2011. I hunted with Etosha Heights Game Safaris. It was a remarkable spot and stalk hunt traversing dry creek beds and dodging painfully loud crunchy leaves to send the .375 bullet to him. He dropped in his tracks. I was quite disappointed when the salted hide arrived to me a year and a half later as the front of the eyes had been cut away and it had a lot of skinning cuts. However, with some creative epoxy work I repaired the missing areas and he’s now proudly displayed in my living room.
