In 1968 my late father with a couple of adventurous friends packed their two Land Rover pickups heading from Kampala to Karamojo. One of the many Karamojo antiques my father managed to acquire is this snuff box. Examining it the brass part is without a doubt a spent cartridge case. Measurements is consistent with 275 Rigby..now, of course there is no way to prove anything. Its all up to the imagination.. Karamojo Bell left a good deal of them up there did`nt he?
