Knife Making Process

With three of the blade to have buffalo horn bolsters I got them cut out and sorted today. Because two of the knives are to have curved join to the handles I thought I would show how I do it. Both the safari hunter and (my) classic mini skinner have them with the interior curve and there was a flat backed set on a wapiti hunter. First off I make sure the tang face of the piece of horn is flat using the disc sander to ensure it is. Then clamp the buff horn to the blade and mark the hole placement with the correct sized drill
