Magnum Research Industries BFR Revolver with 5 inch barrel in 44RM

This was advertised as 5 inch barrel, the box said 5 inch barrel.

Then I pulled out the digital caliper out to easily convert inches to millimeters to fill out the SAPS 520 for revolver information and barrel length.

The barrel measures a disappointing 4.588 inches, or 116.82mm, not the 127mm length, I was wanting/expecting.

Although the BFR is a solid revolver, I purchased the MR, BFR, 44RM, so I would be certain with the 5 inch barrel I could pass the legal barrel length to use a handgun in Africa, regardless of the country I would be hunting in.
