From what I can tell these two cartridges are relatively obsolete today since the AHR rifle company has gone away. Seemed like good choices with standard rims, a neck long enough to hold the bullet firmly and plenty of room for powder. Wonder why they are not popular any longer. Yes, you need a magnum I presume but seems like there are enough of those to go around. Would like to hear from anyone who has used them. Thanks.
. Just focusing on parts production etc now. While I do not shy away from the non-traditional chamberings, there is something to be said for ammo availability in a pinch. I have/still own a handful of a AHRs, but have never shot either of the two you listed.
