The Blue Wildebeest river crossing taxidermy piece was spectacular! Personally one of the most impressive taxidermy pieces I have ever seen. At SCI each year the taxidermists try to outdo themselves from the previous year and this year really left me in awe. It's worth coming to SCI just to marvel at the exceptional and creative taxidermy.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :E Horrified::E Horrified:

My understanding of the wildebeest river scene was that it was done from old mounts that were repurposed for the scence. I didn't get a chance to talk with Ray but another gentleman in his booth was telling about it.

African Taxidermy Pictures

Something that I always enjoy looking at while at the SCI convention is the taxidermy work and of course particularly the taxidermy of African species... there are incredible and very intricate scenes of all types, the quality of the taxidermy is so impressive throughout the convention floor. It brings to the imagination that there is indefinite possibilities...

Here are African taxidermy pictures from the SCI convention, enjoy!

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
