I am in the very earliest stages of assisting my best amigo in liquidating his collection.
There are approximately 108 rifles/shotguns with around 80 vintage Winchesters in the mix.
I have an "above average" feel for the value of most, but would appreciate the input of AH members on this one. I will list it here first b4 going the auction route. Any and all input is greatly appreciated.
CZ 550 Classic Safari
Magnum Express Rifle
Chambered in 375 H&H
Set trigger
Barrel band
Folding 3 leaf sights
TRIJICON scope with QD mounts
Wood is stunning
Total round count of 6... sent downrange
in the sighting-in process
Serial#A240008
Made 2006 (one of the earliest)

The story: We purchased this rifle at the SCI convention in Reno Nevada in either 2007 or 2008.
This was the rifle on display in the CZ booth, so, I assume that it was the finest example available at that time.
It is pristine...LNIB...but no box...and was discontinued in 2019.
I won't poison the well by offering my opinion on value... but am very interested in the opinions of like-minded gents.

(1) Photos and (2) not aftermarket upgraded?
This rifle has been a safe queen since purchased.
The only "aftermarket" touch was my install of the aforementioned Trijicon glass with QD mounts.

I will have hands on this rifle in a couple of weeks...here's the only pics I can offer at this point.

Based on the information provided so far it could be a CZ Safari Classics Express Magnum that came with a #1 Fancy grade American Walnut stock with dual crossbolts and straight comb, glass bedded to the individual action, and a barrel band sling mount. This model would be more valuable than a standard CZ 550 Safari Magnum.

Really need good photos of the complete rifle, both sides, along with the exact model of Trijicon scope and mfg of ring mounts to better assess its value. Forum member Krish is a subject matter expert on the CZ Safari Magnums maybe he can chime in when more photos and info are provided.

Also, if that scope is a Trijicon Accupoint, is the tritium crosshair dot or post still glowing? If it’s 16-17 years old most likely not unless sent back to the Trijicon factory for new tritium.

Been down this road with two Accupoints. Sent back after fifteen years, two had 90% of original specs. Was told it was a waste of money to renew but if done, the 15 year warranty on the tritium would renew. Have one now eighteen years old, still good.

Yes, I believe that is the rifle.
I will post additional pics as soon as I get hands-on.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
