Left Handed shooters club!

Very nice rifles Brett Becker! Looks like that young fella is a really talented engraver!

Had time to shoot my K95 today and I am absolutely stunned!
First three shots after zeroing measured a group of 15mm @ 100m. So a sub 1/2moa rifle with the first factory ammo I ran through it...
I am so going to enjoy finding a proper handload for this beast!

Photo of the first group before zeroing...

Even had a nice and easy time cleaning the barrel after todays session. Life is soo much easier when you can remove the barrel before cleaning.

Someone that can borrow me some money so I can get some extra barrels for this beast? :S Dollar:

well that's a group....
id be buying some more of that ammo ....
they definitely gave you left handed bullets, for that baby......

Here is a few pictures. From top to bottom
Rem 700 243
Rem 700 7mm Rem Mag
Sako 85 3006
Ruger 338RCM
Ruger 416 Ruger
Zastava 404 Jefferys

What are your thoughts on the lefty Sako 85 30-06?

I'm a lefty and think that might be my next purchase.

It was Blaser CDP 156gr Left handed ammo ;)

Yeah I am over the moon with this rifle!
Just love to tinker I guess.. Might be able to turn it into a 1/4 moa rifle with some tinkering with the ammo :)

I wonder if they would make a 470Ne barrel for this... Might be a bit stiff on recoil though!

I was disappointed with the quality of the timber used in the stock, it has two knots , one knot they filled with glue and then oil finished the stock. The barrel isn't in the center of the barrel channel. Having said that these are really only cosmetic as it shoots extremely good groups with nearly all weights of projectiles. The Sako's have one of the smoothest actions around, would I buy another? Probably

Did any of you pick up anything through the Rock Island Auction that Mike50760 posted a link to here awhile back? I bid on the Montana 1999 in 404 Jeff. Did not win the auction, the rifle went for a bit under $2200 and having received a quote from Montana, thats right in line with what I was quoted for a new rifle with XX Walnut and a number of extras. They also had a true lefty Merkel double with killer engraving that went for $8K. Probably should have gone after that rifle but a little rich for my wallet with the taxidermy bills piling up and another safari in the planning stages.

I'm right handed but I'm left eye dominate so I shoot a rifle and a bow left handed. Needless to say I'm a big fan of single shot rifles. Right now my T/C Encore in 35 Whelen is my go to rifle, next August I'll use it to introduce six or so SA PG animals to 250 grains of Nosler Partition.

I have a left hand 338-06 that Im very partial to. I purpose built it for hogs and black bear with a large objective leupold scope with lighted dot for low/last light shooting that these animals typically show up in. Its out being camo film dipped right now. Based on the elk, bears, and pigs Ive shot with it, I will definitely be taking it for PG and maybe even leopard. Buddy has a whelan and is just as happy with it. Seem about equal for all intents and purposes.

I think this would be a great leopard gun!

Statistics show that over 90% of wounded leopards are shot with right handed guns.... Just saying.... :A Whistle:

When the 300's not needed this Ruger in .270 is my go-to rifle. Good for left-handers.

I guess my son would qualify for your club since his rifles have the bolts on the wrong side of the gun. He has a couple of Ruger Hawkeyes in 25-06, 30-06 and .375 Ruger. He also has a Ruger 77 MK II in 30-06 and a Ruger American in 30-06 that he had the barrel cut down to 20" and threaded for a suppressor. Here he is with his 25-06 and his .375.

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
