Majestic Creature!

Just out of curiosity will any of our PH's venture an estimate on the weight of those tusks?

Ivory is long but looks a bit thin to my untrained eye. Depending on the size of the nerve etc., I would guess, though again I'm no pro, that the ivory would go about 90-100 a side perhaps.

I have a hard time trying to figure the circumference for the "circumference x length = weight" equation. My guess is around 110-115. Interesting to find out what the pros say.

I think the tusks would be longer than 7'. It is my understanding the equation deals with exposed tusk. 17" circumference x 6.5' exposed = 110 lbs.

They would make a great entrance into a trophy room. Hopefully someday I will have a pair that will make a great entrance to a kids play house.
