I ONLY went back to 1948 and the Suez Crisis, but Israel and the Arabs have been fighting ever since then. And I'm sure the historian experts here have studied the past conflicts between the Arab countries themselves. The fall of Assad in Syria is just the latest chapter over maybe thousands of years of turmoil in the Middle East. I find the history of this region very interesting but tiresome because conflict NEVER seems to end. I don't believe there is any solution available to create a "peaceful" Middle East. I guess we continue to back Israel and some US/West friendly (for now) Arab countries and hope for the best? What a never ending mess for the entire world!

Exactly - rather like Europe for the last thousand years.

Leon Uris’ ‘Exodus’ provides good insight into the post WWII issues in the region.

These assertions by Ukraine track pretty closely with current estimates compiled by the US and UK. They also represent the sort of 3/4 to 1 casualty rates between offensive and defensive combatants one would expect to see - particularly if the offensive never culminates or achieves its objectives. Those ratios have been exacerbated over the last year by Russia resorting to dismounted infantry assaults due to the destruction of Russian armor and lack of any meaningful air support. The WIA rate to KIA for the Russians is very low by Western and even Ukrainian standards, but that likely reflects the archaic quality of Russian field medical evacuation and support.

Russia provides no casualty information to their own citizens - much less the rest of the world.

250,000 young men sacrificed to the aspirations of a demented fool. I wish one of his cronies would put an end to him.

There is a long tradition - one can hope.

There may be a variety of diplomatic paths toward a just peace in Ukraine. It will take the removal of President Blinken and the rest of the Biden Regime before any progress is made. And it will take dialogue. There has been none during the war. Blinken has cut all communication, even back channel, with our professed enemy. He has made generational wealth off of the war, (thru WestExec and Pine Island Capitol,) and the potential conflict of interest(s) would alarm any rational human being. Anyway, smarter leaders will soon bring hope.........FWB

This cartoon left out Obama and Biden funneling cash and loosening sanctions on Iran. (For a specific reason and following the baked in strategy)

But hey, the decades old policy is to keep the chaos going over there so they don’t have time or resources to come here.

I heard something about the President of Poland, he implied that talks would commence once the freeze up occurs. This will pretty much coincide with Trump taking office and Poland taking over the leadership of the European Union.

Far left liberals across social media are acting like Luigi is some kind of hero for gunning down an unarmed CEO, as well as calling for a boycott of McDonald's since one of it's employee's called the law on him.
It is truly a sickness with these people.

Isn’t it typical of politicians. And especially the leftists. Breaking the healthcare system then when one of their lunatics kills someone because the system is broken. They blame Trump and his Policies.

Insurance companies lobbyists persuaded Hillary Clinton to have secret meetings, without physician input. The argument was that physicians were driving the cost. The plan was to force all Americans into health maintenance organizations (HMOs), create regional alliances to price-fix by region, and criminalize charging more than the set rates.

Though Hillarycare never became law, the effort brought huge change. Patients could no longer choose their doctor. Insurance companies now owned the patients. Participation in HMOs rose from 10% to 50%. Your doctor could no longer refer you to the best hospital or consultants if they were "out of network." The doctor-patient bond had been successfully severed.

Elizabeth Warren is now spouting off about big evil insurance companies. When it’s her and her cronies that handed health care over to them in the first place beginning with “HillaryCare” then ObamaCare.

So once again they break it. Then they now have all the answers to fix it. Unfortunately the leftists minions never seem to be concerned with cause and effect.

I'm no fan of big Pharma or the U.S healthcare system. It's greed driven.
I support capitalism and a fair profit, but the healthcare & pharmaceuticals cost has gotten ridiculous.
I forgot what company it was, but that new CEO that took over one of the big Pharma's immediately quadrupled the price on EpiPen's, causing a big outcry.
I can go to Thailand and get world class healthcare for a small fraction of the cost here. I know a few guys that have done it.

Schiff: what a sniveling twatwaffle...
What a baboon Shiff is, out of all of the people that should be watching out it’s him. How many times did he tell congress and the American public that he had such and such evidence against Trump and all of it was a 100%lie.

I guess I should apologize to baboons, they don’t deserve to be compared to the swampiest of swamp creatures.
