Protruding Primers 9.5 x 57 MS

Indeed.

The only reason I took up reloading initially was to feed the M1910.

I was into black powder at the time, so it was sort of a natural progression. There are whole other levels of involvement when firing the loads that you have crafted yourself as opposed to just feeding 'store bought' to one's rifle.

From the 1939 Stoeger, and every bit as true today:

Truer words were never written!

Brand new 9.5x57 MS Qual Cartridge brass at 44gr of IMR 3031

It sounds like that is a pretty standard load
You need to cut the primer pocket on qualicart brass as they are not correct. I had the same issue which after much headache I recut the pockets- problem solved! This after I foolishly even trimmed the firing pin!

Hello there. I’ve been wanting to introduce myself personally & chat with you about hunting Nilgai. Give me a call sometime…

+1 Great to deal with. I purchased custom rifle. No issues.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary

Booked with Harold Grinde - Gana River - they sure kill some good ones - who'd you get set up with?
