For Sale:

Ruger RSM in .458 Lott, includes 50 pieces of unfired Hornady brass, and a 3 piece RCBS die set.

The rifle is in very good condition overall. Metal and bluing are virtually perfect, but the stock does show some signs of use with some dings and scratches which I have tried to highlight in my photos. (I am very particular about my guns, so I want to be as transparent as possible.) A Pachmayer Decelerator recoil pad has been installed in place of the hard/sharp Ruger original. The action is smooth, and feeds reliably.

Note: The barrel has been engraved in celebration of a past Carolina Day event. The engraving is very light and a bit difficult to see or photo, although I tried to highlight it in the pictures. The engraving is in a font very similar to that used by Ruger, and is very well executed. While it does not terribly detract from the appearance of the weapon, I did want to make a point of mentioning it.

I realize that I am a new member, but I have conducted good transactions with Bwaybuilder, Etsonaut, and Krish. I will be happy to speak directly to any serious buyer or provide any details that you'd like. I am willing to ship to your FFL and will ship the rifle in a hard case contained inside a typical rifle box. (In fact, it will come in the plastic case Krish use to ship me the beautiful .416 Rigby I purchased from him earlier this year!)

I am asking $2500 plus shipping, but will certainly entertain offers.

Thank you!

Nice rifle, nice deal! Shouldn't last long....

I had one of these Ruger Express 458 Lotts years ago. They are a great rifle and a good value. You have to spend a LOT more to get a better rifle than this!

I’m a fan of them, for sure. I’m thinning the herd a bit, but keeping my other two RSMs.

It’s a good price. I’m surprised it’s still here.

Good luck with your sale. If that was a 416 rigby it would be sold to me already!

I say again the Ruger Express rifles are some of the best values available. They are serious, proper working rifles. I only changed the recoil pad and put some paint on the front sight bead of my 458 Lott and it went to work right away.

Price drop: Asking $2500 for the package and I will cover shipping to the lower 48.

Thanks!

I can't believe this hasn't sold.I have not seen any RSM's at this price point in any caliber.I have two of these and I sure wouldn't sell either that cheap.

Fantastic deal for a workhorse of a rifle, this will surely be my first safari rifle one day but, alas, that is not today!

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
