Want to thank many out there for opinions on form shooting big rifles.
Got my RSM 416 Rigby out for some paper punching, actually enjoyed shooting it.
In a few posts guys said to square up behind the rifle to absorb recoil.
Even though I had rifle in the lead sled I certainly felt as though I could have just rested on sand bags.
The rifle is shooting 1 inch groups with 350 grain Barnes.
I do need more practice on the sticks for sure.
Shot my 280 after the 416. Felt like shooting my 5.56!
Almost 60 years old and this dog can still learn new tricks.
Thanks Gents!
