Hi guys,

Last year my bowhunting buddy and I went off to Falcon Safaris in the Thabazimbi district to get out of the city and spend a few days bowhunting.

After passing up numerous animals on the first day I took this warthog boar on the second day. He was my first warthog and I took him at 26metres.

During the week I also took two good impala rams.

And then I was also very lucky and priviledged to get a shot opportunity on a beautiful, old bushbuck ram which I just could not pass up.

There really is nothing like spending time in the bush with your friends and family and my friend was truly lucky and got a wonderful opportunity to take a kudu bull and he took it and made a wonderful shot!

He also shot two impala and a vervet monkey, and his girlfriend was converted and was even willing to shoot an impala!

It was an awesome week and I would like to thank everyone that made it possible for us.
I hope you guys will enjoy.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.

Have twice tried to post something that your site canned as "SPAM" or some problem.. "Contact the Administrator"... Not sure why even the "Contact" button would not send my comment so you only received my query but not the content in question. I'll see if I can get it to you this way... NOPE I use a VPN and perhaps that is causing me grief...
