Looking for opinions on Tusker Safaris owned by Jan Kleynhans. They have been donating hunts to my local chapter of SCI for some time. I have met and talked with Jan a few times, I like what I hear when we talk but I cant find any revues on his operation. Thanks.

Hi Kal
I am Jan Kleynhans son,if there is any information I can help you with please email me

kal, I would be starting with the folks within your local chapter who bought the previous hunts and see what they thought. (may be way to obvious)

from another reply.

Kal,

Personally I would suggest you give Jan a fair chance and ask him to send you references on who has hunted with their company. If you do not hear back from him in time I would suggest to have a look at other outfitters that will be able to suite your safari needs. There is a lot of reputable and very good outfitters on this website that will be more than happy to help you put together a safari and make sure you have a good time and make sure ALL of your animals are trophies. ;)

If there is anything we can help with on the forum please feel free to ask questions at anytime.

Best regards,

Jacques

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.

Have twice tried to post something that your site canned as "SPAM" or some problem.. "Contact the Administrator"... Not sure why even the "Contact" button would not send my comment so you only received my query but not the content in question. I'll see if I can get it to you this way... NOPE I use a VPN and perhaps that is causing me grief...
