We are just back from another great trip on the long-range party boat Yankee Capts out of Key West. This trip specializes in fishing offshore water west of the Dry Tortugas in the southern gulf. The areas we fish are the continental shelfs of Pulley and Rankin Ridge. Bottom fishing for quality snapper & grouper is amazing. My buddy also caught a big wahoo at night on a bait intended for a bottom fish, which is always a nice bonus!
This trip spans 3 nights with 2 full days of fishing. Everyone who fished hard filled their coolers with snapper, grouper, tunas, African pompano, mahi and many more species. Here are a few of the pics from the trip. We didn't stop fishing too long to take a lot of pics, but you can see the catch yield in the last pic from 18 full totes of fish.
