Swarovski Z3 3-9x36 L Plex

Bought new from Bear Basin Outfitter (authorized Swarvo dealer). Comes with box and all paperwork. I don't see them but it may have very slight ring marks. Every scope I've ever put in Ruger rings have light outline marks afterward. Nothing showed up in the pics so they are very slight if any. $500 shipped. I would prefer to trade for a Zeiss 3-9x40 Conquest. I like the size of that scope better. I have lots of history with the Conquest. Both have great optics. Not cross listed at this time.

Agreed, I own both of the referenced scopes and have the same opinion.

This model Zeiss has 4 inches of eye relief which along with its body length is very forgiving in a lot of mounting situations. The crosshairs on the Zeiss plex are heavier than the Swarovski which is an advantage in my opinion. Depends on your application.

@Dirtdart I owe you a thank you. I had this exact Zeiss scope in my safe. I just swapped it onto my No1 in .22 hornet. I still need an offset rear ring but this made a huge difference. Once I have the offset ring I will actually use that rifle again!

It is nice to hear that your Hornet will be back in business! This model Zeiss is going to help the OP with a similar situation. I have always tried to keep one of those laying around just for that reason and will probably wish I had not traded this one off some day.

I thought I would follow up on this thread with a pic of the Zeiss mounted with a rear offset ring on my No1 in .22 Hornet. This solution is perfect for this rifle. With this sorted, and the Z6 1-6x24 EE on my No.1 in .275, I believe have the two best scope solutions I have seen on a No1. Thanks again @Dirtdart!
