Thank you brickburn & diamondhitch, I looked at every possible link where I could read something about them, I just wonder if some member here has a personal experience with them. Hunting report website has few reports about the PH Sherdell O. Sherdell, I just can not find anything fresh.

Sherdell's father, Omari and my father were friends in the 60's. Sherdell was a kid. Omari was a great guy.

I haven't hunted with Mwatisi but have met a couple of people at shows that have. They both had great hunts including buff, lion, etc. Sherdell will have a booth at DSC and I see him there every year. He also has a partner in Texas from what I understand.

Sherdell knows what he is doing. He has a reputation for hunting hard.

I believe his main area is north of Chunya, possibly where Rungwa and Usangu come together. He also has an area by Ugalla and another in Maasailand I believe.

There is an agent that exhibits at our local hunting show that has hunted buff with Mwatisi and who books for them. If you are interested just pm me and I can see if I can find his contact info for you.

Resurrecting a nearly 3 year old post:

I met Sherdell at the 2018 Houston safari club show yesterday. They are offering hunts in Rungwa and have some very competitive priced hunts for Tanz. A 10 day PG +Leopard hunt for $25k, and the $7k Leopard trophy fee was included. Buff was also on the list with a $2400 trophy fee.

Sherdell provides a good quality hunt at very fair pricing.

@Just Gina and I had the distinct honor of joining @Wheels and @Royal27 on that hunt. In fact Sherdell was our PH. We had a great hunt other than Gina did not tolerate the tsetse flies very well. Once she started wearing a full bug suit she did much better.

Highly recommend!

We were initially concerned about being able to successfully hunt two lions. Sherdell kept assuring us it would be no problem.

It was crazy and way beyond my wildest dreams how many big cats, and other predators, were in that area! We saw big male lion tracks regularly. Left with several big males still around and hitting baits.

And after we took 3 leopard, I think there were 6 left on bait!
