The concept employed by Blaser, for the lock-up, is ingenious. Steel is massively stronger in compression than in tension or shear. Therefore, the Blaser makes for an incredibly strong action. In fact, I'm not sure you could get one to fail. The case may fail, and the barrel might fail, but the lock-up won't.
