What slings are you using on your Safari Express. I tried 2 Vanguard slings but they are really not comfortable walking with. I dont know if it have something to do with the barrel band. What shape or design works best?
Have you carried much with slings? What did you last use? Have they softened from use?
I recently carried a hire rifle with a worn in leather sling cobra style wide at the top. The softness of the leather was they key.
I own a few and don’t hunt enough. There are neoprene that’s are soft. I think you just need to tolerate it for a bit.
I like Limbsaver pads but don’t like their Kodiak slings they will not soften.
