New Ammo Cans

I had 4 of the 50 caliber cans to begin with.
Just seem to be running out of space...go figure.

I like that idea. I have timber floors in my house but my reloading space is in the shed. I might place an application to redevelop a room inside. Kids moved out it’s fair game.
As for ammo cans we don’t see the .50’s much. Possibly in disposals stores I’m sure there are some mil-surp options. Generally they are pricey, well I think given the army must have dumped thousands.
You can buy softpoint ammo in cans of 480 for .308 and .243 and 900x .223 . Ammo is in plastic sealed packs inside of cans so some retailers sell the ammo packs at retail and then want $25 for the can. The cans were originally marketed to be bulk pricing but some dealers are rogues putting the price comparable to other ammo. It’s actually loaded for a wholesaler by ADI who manufactures the powders and military ammo supplies.

The 50 cal cans were $15 each and the 30mm were $40.
The cans were used in the US military and are now considered surplus.
They come in various conditions, the ones I picked up were the best I've seen in a while.
Too good to pass up.

It sucks that they try to rake you over the coals for the can after you already bought the ammo.

You can buy a full can at stores. Prices vary. Partly availability some stores seem to be pricey if you know the market. We have big stores doing deals , Country stores making an honest living and i can think of one store thats setting premiums on most stock. People are bound to catch on.
