This is a Zebra mare I recently completed and finished.
This beauty was taken by Brian Drake, and was part of two-day seminar I gave on mounting the Zebra. Congrats, Brian ... on a beautiful mare!
I have been told that I have a very discerning eye for assessing taxidermy. I have been invited to many trophy rooms of clients where the norm is well far from ideal. The realism was often missed, and it was further sad to realize that the owners were unaware. The upshot is that they are proud, which is good in itself. When I study this zebra mount, I see it as stunningly realistic, and the overall artistic merit is exemplary. Congratulations.
