Thanks @flatwater bill - this was a custom build by a local 'smith, in the style of Jim Corbett's .275. I was pleased with the result.

I'd posted some pics on that process a couple of years back - if there's any interest I'll dig up the link.
 
Ya, re-post some fotos. When the investment casting rifle makers try to "go classic" they get a tight, cramped pistol grip instead of a gentle sweep, screw up the bbl swivel, put a little slider button safety, and worst of all......a short, swept back knuckle buster bolt instead of the long straight Rigby style handle and knob. They get wood grain parallel to the comb, but it needs to flow thru the wrist. You have a fine looking, and I suspect, a fine handling rifle..............FW Bill
