Picked this rifle up yesterday as an impulse buy. Don't know much about it. It says CZ 602 ZKK BRNO .458 Win Mag. Came with the extra stock. Is it a quality gun? Any idea what type of wood the stocks are made of? Value? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
From the many previous postings on AH concerning the BRNO ZKK 602 it is one heck of a rifle. With the CZ prefix I'm wondering if this is/was a "transition" rifle made when CZ first took over BRNO. I don't think the caliber is held in as high esteem as the rifle but none the less will most likely serve you well. I like the "figuring" on the second stock, by its' configuration it might be better used with iron sights.
@Shootist43 Thanks for the input. I too like the figuring on the second stock. May need to switch them out soon. The gun has the express sights. Don't know why there was a scope put on, but I can't complain too much. The factory ammo is ridiculously priced. Waiting to reload some before Testing it out.
