I have been in that hide! It actually is not ideal. We got some straps and closed the gap on the lower opening so it wasn't as wide. Also, the floor would creak when you move and that was a problem. Plus, it had the sun hitting the face, which allowed animals to see into it too easily (and why who closed the lateral opening by about 75%). There were gemsbock that came into a clearing, stopped, looked at the blind and left. (That prompted the adjustment). Incredibly nice lodge and the owner and his wife were super people though. I got a Damara Dik-Dik, Springbock and Ostrich from that very blind.
