Stevens 200 Rifle rebarreled to 35 Whelen with a 25 inch stainless barrel 1in 12 twist

Sweet. I too use 1:12 twist for my Whelen barrels.

I really rate these rifles Bob and I had one in .300WM which got the Boyds stock treatment plus a trigger job...
I'm always on the lookout for these as they sell cheap, are ACCUTATE and sooooo underrated.
I'd love one in .308 for a smaller deer rifle or .243 for smaller stuff.
I reckon I'm the only person in the entire world to think this but I reckon they look good too!
