Twenty Four Lions reintroduced to Zambeze Delta of Mozambique

An update from the field:
Our lions continue to do well, with a majority of them staying in areas where there are lots of prey. Last week we were able to get our eyes on all but one, but her collar data suggests that she's doing just fine. Our lone male appears to be settling down since the loss of his brother and is in good condition.

This broken GPS tracker gave us a bit of a scare! After noticing that the data showed another one of our lions as stationary for a long period, our team was concerned and immediately set out to find the lion and ensure it was ok. Turns out, the GPS tracker on its collar had fallen off. We found the tracker and verified that all of the lions are doing well. False alarm!
