  • Hi Luke. Just saw your message. I am in Dillingham, and have been since 2002. I took an elementary teaching gig here, taught here five years, and then got a job with Togiak National Wildlife Refuge as their education and outreach specialist. Recently I just got a promotion and now I'm the Visitor Services Manager. Prior to DLG I spent 6 years teaching for Lake and Pen in Nondalton.

Hi Luke. Best of wishes on your move to Palmer. What will you be doing there? I like DLG a lot; it is home. I seem to recall you teach? There are always openings here. The elementary is solid. The principal there is a rock star. He is terrific and he's not going anywhere. They have a new principal at the MS/HS. I don't know anything about her. Happy to chat about anything. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Thanks for the ideas. I was a teacher but I started working with CRNA. I'm doing Behavioral Health work. Going to school online to be a counselor. So in a couple years I could be pretty flexible in where I live. I hear you have good bear hunting

Well, it seems like the hospital also has openings a lot. They have a behavioral health wing. Options are good. Brown bear hunting is pretty good. 2 bear limit, no tags needed. A hunting license and you're ready to roll.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
