  • Tom I want to thank you for your response on Africa reading! Super informal and I took you lost and added to my amazon list!
Sorry to bug you again about books but would you have any suggestions on books about History of Africa that's not too dry? I have a bachelors in History and most of my interest was obviously Africa (more Eastern) but I love learning the more I can.
    Thanks so much again!

Accurate history....im kinda drawing a blank as i mostly read non-fiction hunting or fictional african history (Wilbu Smith is awesome for this!!!). You cant go wrong with any if the Courteney saga. Id goolge wilbur snoth courteney series and start reading them in order. You will love it!!!

Hi Tom, what can you tell me about Namibia Safari corp? Trying to put a hunt together for leopard. Thanks John
Hi Tom, A friend of mine forward me your post RE the rage b/heads. Sorry to hear about your bad experiance with these b/heads. I'm a big rocket fan and recentely tried the rage 125gr 2 blade heads, I was a bit schepticle at first but harversted 4 impala rams at a range between 35 - 55 yards in South africa. I was quit supprised with their performance. all animals died within 20 yards. I must agree that they are very "soft", one head per animal!. Will try them again.
    Tom,

Thanks for the input. Any other things I should know about hunting Africa for the first time?
    Hi Tom,

sorry to take so long to respond. Have been in Africa. I live and hunt in Idaho. I am not an outfitter. Just enjoy the dog hunting.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
