    Yellowstone prequel 1923 double rifle

Sheridan had “cowboys” fly-fishing on horseback in the first season of “Yellowstone”. Reality, let alone period correct, doesn’t seem to play a big role in his soap operas.

    1903 springfield

Other than to correct a safety issue, I won’t mess with “family” guns. Refinishing, converting, etc., it just seems wrong to wipe out the physical history that is part of those firearms. I just view myself as the caretaker till it makes it’s way to the next generation.

    35 Whelen or 300 Win??

If it’s between the .300Win and the .35W, the correct answer is always .243.

AH ending use of TapaTalk App

Russ, I should add that as you’re on an iPhone (the image I posted is on a IPad) that icon may be in the middle at the bottom of the screen. AH ending use of TapaTalk App

Tap the icon directly to the right of where you see the web address and the menu in the attached image will open. Scroll down to where you see “Add to Home Screen” (red smudge in the pic). Tap it. Should now be an AH icon on your Home Screen.

I'm hearing BS - Set me straight on Powders being discontinued!?

Did you read what I posted? I did not dispute that they are the same. The individual I quoted stated that every manual you look in lists all facets of loads with the two “different” powders identically. I was simply pointing out that has not been my experience.

I'm hearing BS - Set me straight on Powders being discontinued!?

I’ve read this before but have noticed that not all manuals list 760 & 414 as identical in all respects. I don’t use either powder but noticed the discrepancy when looking for a load for my .280 in Lyman’s 49th. Hornady and Nosler manuals as well. Notice the 2+ grain difference in Max charge...

    Shotgun choices for a Woman

At just 5’2”, set her up for success and have a professional gun-fitter measure her. After that, I’d look for a gas semi-auto 20ga with an appropriate LOP and adjustable shim kit that will allow you to get her close to the dimensions provided by the fitter.
