My favorite African country

The best hunting I have ever had has been in Southern Sudan. There is so much variety there, from the savannah to the forest. That was a long time ago mind you. Tanzania is fantastic, I have hunted there since '84 and had nothing but great experiences there. True wilderness and wild places, great trophies and wonderful people. Could not ask for more.

My best hunting tip

Respect the game you hunt, and hunt it honorably. Throw away your tape measure, listen to your PH and enjoy the experience. The less pressure you put on yourself and the PH the better. The more relaxed you are on safari, the better your results will be. You still have to put in the hours, but you will enjoy it more.
