Simple answer NO! I don’t reload so shoot only factory ammo. Price has never played a part in caliber choices. I will spend whatever is needed for quality ammo. Ammo is the cheapest part of a hunt.

I concur with others. 404 and 9.3. My last 3 safaris I have taken 3 rifles, 458 Lott, 375HH and 300 win mag. If I’m hunting DG primary is 458 but always carry the 375 as back up. Next trip is all DG so 458 Lott and 375 Two is no more problem than 1 to me
