That’s not true everywhere. People naturally gravitate toward brevity, and “O-5 and O-6” were used quite a bit to distinguish between Colonels. Air Force flying unit, definitely not “pencil pushers.” Maybe it was because per capita, there were more of us compared to other service branches...

Have two…. I think Mauser kept the quality up with them. Not a fan of the M18, and the M25 looks lower end as well(?). But, these are nicely made guns, I think. The barrels are press-fit though, so a big problem when a barrel has run its course.

Also looks like they just listed a Mauser M96 (1996) straight pull in 7 Rem Mag. Kinda cool.

Saw a Mauser M03 Africa Extreme in .458 Lott for sale at Jaquas in Findlay, Ohio. They’re online also. FWIW.

Hope a quick veer off topic is OK. Do most like this media vibration for cleaning or wet tumbling with steel pins? The Area 419 guys on their videos say steel pins tumbling rounds off the cases. Anyway, just getting a second opinion. Thanks.
