I'm a retired Prison Officer, I started as a general duties Prison Officer and ended my career as a Deputy Governor / Prison Manager of Security. I have always loved shooting and hunting. I was an Oficer in the Australian Army Reserves as a young man, I loved leading my Centurion Main Battle Tank Troop, but my real love (and talent) was as a infantry rifleman scout. Mind you, I was always on a one way range.
I love the bush, cutting my own firewood (although splitting is a slow process these days) for our fire (it gets quite cold here) as well as vegetable gardening.
I have never hunted or visited Africa and barring a lottery win am unlikely to, but I have aways been interested in it.
I hunt with a range of firearms, but my main rifles are Zastava M70s and I have been using these since the mid 80s when I first noticed them.
I love reloading, casting and working on my guns (although my hands are not the most obedient).
I am the Rifle Captain at the local shooting complex and volunteer there two or three times a week.
