I have 2 boxes full of knives. One is all pocket knives and another larger box full of hunting and skinning knives. Also have another dozen or so of various filet knives. All get used periodically. I don’t know how any man can get along without knives.
I got my wrist slapped for not using the weaver stance while qualifying. Slapped with the safety paddle by drill Sargent. After he saw my grouping he said I could finish qualifying with my stance. After qualifying right handed I told range officer I was left handed and asked if I could try again...
I do agree with rookhawks point on browning being a brand wh* re. They sell their name to whoever pays to put on crap junk from China that has nothing to do with shooting sports. Can’t say I agree with his assessments of their guns. I own 5 Brownings and not a single one has ever needed repair...
I have been a Browning fan for 55 years shotguns at first A-5’s and BPS. Then I aquired a BLR take down in 358 winchester and absolutly love it. My son has an X bolt in 7mm 08 that shoots very well and is a very nice looking gun that shoots tiny groups. I would heartily endorse any browning firearm.
If you want to see what modern engineering considers a stock improvement just handle a CZ 550 FS. No one will ever accuse them of being weak or svelte. Improvement? I prefer my MS stock. Just one old hunters opinion.
