Unfortunatley I have never hunted in Africa or any other countries so can't anticipate in your hunting questionnaire and interest forum.
I do have something I believe will be of interest to many.
I've recently emptied my late grandfathers home, whilst emptying the lift we come across suite am heavy object?,that was what we called it,to our surprise we unravelled the worn and torn box then again unravelled 3 separate "object" what were of some weight on doing this we discovered their were some kind of animal tusk from 2 of the beautiful pieces of ivory fell what we can only assume is the local soil from where these were originated.. ( like an orange colour thick sand) very overwhelming.
So we had the last one to unwrap only to see an African dagger made of ivory and ebony again the blade was slightly shadowed with the "orange soil/sand" this was dated 1935.. yes we knew my grandad was stationed out there back when serving our country but he had Never mentioned the 3 African ivory elephant tusks or the 1935 ivory and ebony dagger?.. although we heard the story's of his colourful life over and over.
I am looking to sell these beautiful pieces as I will not give them the love and full appreciation they deserve.if any one is interested or want photos and details please get in touch..
