    suppressor info

I took mine to Tanzania in July and just put it on my 4457. Customs couldn't have cared less in coming back through Atlanta. Only thing they checked was the serial number on my rifle. Neither Ethiopian nor Tanazanian authorities cared about the suppressor. Only the rifle serial number and...

How did you get your handle or user name?

My last name and the plane I was flying when I joined, the Boeing 717. My usual call sign is Unknown Rider. I fly the A350 now. Some of you may have been on a flight with me to Joburg or Cape Town!

    Safari shirt?

Tag Safari shirts are good ones. Also, Ruggedwear shirts are comfortable. I use both in long and short sleeve for most of my hunting.

    Ordering wine online

Capeardor.com ships SA, NZ, and AUS wines to most US states. Winechateau.com ships liquor and wine but not to every state. Both have good selections.

First trip to Africa and 1st International Hunt

Welcome! Sounds like an ambitious trip. In the right place and right time of year the plains game should be manageable. I have bird hunted a couple times in the Western Cape (Durbanville area) and have 3 guinea fowl, 2 red-billed teals and a yellow bill downed. I am not an avid wingshooter...
