Thanks for your post . Zane was only to be the PH if possible and only in Zimbabwe and only if his schedule permitted. None of which meet this criteria. Sorry for the confusion on this end .

Thanks @Fatback just firmed up the July 10 to the 31st dates so everything looks to be a go ! Now just need some luck maybe a lot of luck either way will enjoy the experience.

They have an earlier slot so have requested it thanks to the great group of experienced hunters here on AH . Had not thought about the heat and easier hunting for the lions later in the season. Opening is July 10 to 31st. Hope to finalize everything tomorrow .

I spoke with a Tanzanian PH earlier today who said similar. There is a window in July as well but Dawie would not be available. Food for thought .

Nothing ventured nothing gained! Life is about taking a little risk every once in a while. I wouldn’t be in a position to consider a hunt like this if I hadn’t.
