My .270, A Rugger M77 absolutely loves Barnes 129 grain LRX pushed by Accurate 4350. I've only shot deer with it, but I can put a quarter over the 3 shot groups and velocity is in the 3,000 FPS range. Last year I shot a good buck at the incredible distance of 22 yards...

Where at the Large Magnum Rifle Primers and Alliant RL 15 powders? Midway hasn't had them in months!

The Ruger is going to cost you less up front for the rifle. Ammo availability is not as consistent, but that will change over time

I shudder when I see people posting pictures of babies and dogs/cats in vulnerable scenarios. Just inviting bad things to happen to the baby and ultimately to the animal as well.
