    Franz, would you explain what "belt and suspender method" is for my own edification? I have installed EAW Quick-Lok pivot mounts on my Rigby and Mauser rifles following NECG instructions. However, I don't know what "belt and suspender method" is.

    Ammo price? No. Ready availability of components? Yes. I would not consider purchasing certain caliber firearms if ammo or components are not readily available in that particular caliber.

    Beautiful rifle, Tom. If you really want to use a sling, I second the recommendation for a looped sling made for shotguns. Hi @rookhawk. Would you expand a bit more about stabilizing the pistol grip? Is that a preventative measure or a known Achilles heel of this type of rifle?
