Questions for Global Rescue?
How much is the new increase?
My plan always renews in May…if I upgrade early does it tack on to my existing plan or do I loose the [emoji638] months?

Hi there!

The increase will depend on the specific membership, but overall will not go above what we've done in prior years.

You can renew your membership now, and it will tack it on to your existing term, so it will automatically extend when your current membership expires. If you don't have immediate travel plans after your current membership expires, you can always renew and select a future start date to lock in today's rate.

Please don't hestitate to reach out to us 24x7, and we are happy to help. memberservices@globalrescue.com or +1-617-459-4200.

Thank you for your membership with Global Rescue!

I signed up today for an upcoming trip. I also downloaded the app, but don’t have access to it until a later date closer to my departure. I know there is a phone number and email listed to contact in case of emergency, but how does that work if you’re out away from internet or cell service? I assume a SAT phone is the only means of contact at that point. Is the APP set up to where you can call for assistance if cell or internet signal is available?

Thanks

Tagging on what Toby asked…is there a way to contact Global Rescue via InReach if we are out of the cell coverage area?

Hello! These are both excellent questions!

In the event our services are needed, we do require two-way communication - whether that is by phone (+1-617-459-4200) email (operations@globalrescue.com) or mobile app. The mobile app would need access to a mobile or wireless network for communication capabilities.

If you are in a region outside of standard cell phone or wireless service, we recommend a satellite device that supports two-way communication - whether 2-way messaging, or phone capabilities. InReach is certainly one of the more popular devices for 2-way messaging, and we can be contacted by sending an email message to our operations team through the device. Please note - we cannot accept SMS texts, but the more common devices will allow text to email which is sufficient.

We always encourage our members with a satellite device to send us a test message, or give us a test call prior to your trip to ensure our contact information is properly stored/programmed. We are happy to confirm receipt of these test messages and calls.

Our member services team is available 24x7 at +1-617-459-4200 or email at memberservices@globalrescue.com to help with any questions! Please never hestiate to reach out, and we are happy to assist!
