These aren't my mounts. These mounts were done by my taxidermist in Africa for clients.

The bottom one is my favorite.

It's a toss up between the baboon on the zebra and the monkey on the warthog.

I'm not quite sure how guest would react to the monkey with the toilet paper would react. And I might get haunted by the monkey's ghost if I relented posting his remains where his glass eyes will eternally see unsightly parts of humans.

I always wanted a Baboon and a Warthog in 1920's Africa khaki hunting uniforms standing on either side of a door way, along with a wolf or a big fox and a big wild boar in German trachten on the other side of the same room bookending the other doors of our living room.

Reminds me of some of the more weird and wonderful taxidermy from the Victorian era. If weird and whimsical float your boat. Do check out the attached link and if ever one finds oneself in Split on a damp and dismal day and needs uplifting, then visit this place.

I used to go hog hunting in central Florida, and the owner of the farm, build his house around his trophy room. It was massive, and had mounts on all four walls, on the floor, everywhere. He had a big baboon hanging from the chandelier, and to me, it was creepy. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
