WHERE WE ARE LOCATED:
EC Hunting Safaris operates from the renowned Fish River valley, 40km from the historic town of Grahamstown, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. This area is well-known as a premier hunting destination, situated a short 90 minutes both Port Elizabeth & East London airports.

ACCOMODATION:
We have a dedicated hunting lodge with 6 comfortable rooms for our clients, each with en-suite bathrooms, with shower facilities. Our lodge has a swimming pool and undercover entertainment area, as well as an outdoor braai area, with a firepit. From this patio, you can view the grazing game in front of the lodge.

HUNTING & GROUNDS:
Hunting takes place on the property, as well as on 60000 hectares of hunting concessions within one to two hours of the base camp. We accommodate both novice & experienced hunters, and even first-time rifle hunters are welcome. First day in camp is always target practice, making sure the rifles are sighted in, and you're comfortable with your equipment. At EC Hunting Safaris, we cater for rifle, bow, cross-bow & spear hunting. We also offer specialised night time hunting of Jackal with thermal imaging equipment, and electronic callers.




OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Big 5 Game Parks
Other than hunting, we offer activities for both hunters and observers. The Big 5 game parks in our area offer day trips, which are very popular, as you get to experience these protected species in their natural environment, as well as enjoy a lunch or dinner in a different camp.

Fishing
Deep sea fishing is available less than 90 minutes from camp in the town of Port Alfred, and proves to be a great day out, weather dependent.

Shark Cage Diving
This unique experience is available seasonally, and is a full day out at sea, viewing all the sea & bird life along the coastline, including penguins, seals, whales, dolphins & great white sharks.




Garden Route & Wine Tours
We offer guided tours down the infamous garden route, stopping along the way to experience the different parks, like Monkeyland, Birds of Eden & The Elephant Sanctuary. Also in this area, is the underground limestone cave, which is one of the world's greatest natural wonders, being the Cango Caves in the Oudtshoorn area.
We also have tours of the wine route, which is a stretch from Port Elizabeth through to Cape Town, with stop in the wine producing regions of the Western Cape, with wine tasking & vineyard tours.
