While I don't own either now. I did own a VC Azur in 500 and have shot and handled Chapuis. VC hands down to me better. I am not a double person why I sold the VC.

Only experience I have with Lion was myself and friend. He used 375 with 300gr Aframes and I used 458 Lott with 500gr Aframes. Both Lions dropped in there tracks with 1 shot. Both were complete pass thru. Shot placement is the most important plus a good bullet.

I'm running the SRO 1MOA in AHR mount on CZ 458 Lott I find the field of view better on SRO than RMR. That's just me tho. I prefer the smaller 1moA

Either the Trijicon SRO or RMR HD with an AHR QD mount work perfect on the CZ 550.

You are correct! Trijicon RMR's and Acog's are two of the most counterfeit you will run into, along with Leupold MKIV's. We have been burned a couple times. I always check serials with a quick phone call now.

Been doing thermal pig hunting for over 15 years. A good AR15 platform rifle. We still use mostly 223/5.56. Cheaper to shoot and we go thru several mags a night. Use the heavier 68-75 grain hollow points. We are not concerned with picking them up and or processing. Hunting fresh planted crops...
