Ok I'll have to check them out I normally use coppersmith. Heard some people saying there can be a lot of port fees by sea. What port is yours coming to?
Hello and welcome. I love that area. Was just there in July for my second time hunting with Charl Crous. Those mountains are amazing and the ocean views are spectacular too. Now if you guys could just do something about the wind .
I have 3/4" barnwood over top 1/2" plywood. I glued and nailed the barnwood to the plywood. Plywood is nailed to studs. So far no problems just using screws anywhere. And hanging off the. Look at my posts and you will see it.
That's exactly how I feel. I always find it strange when I read guys saying they want to be the only ones in camp. The pH needs a break too while your talking to the other hunters.
Maybe list some of the animals you are interested in and that will give guys and idea of what your after. There was a elephant hunt in Zimbabae posted not long ago for 15k. Could be something you might be into.
I'm actually talking to Angelo about hunting ducks and geese down there. That's why I asked because I was wondering if there was something else to hunt there.
My pH in Limpopo for night animals used all pulsar stuff. I shot animals with the high end scope and the cheaper scope attachment. The high end scope was 1000 times better then the attachment.
I'm the OP. I read your post. I'm amazed how calm you were about the price changes. I'm actually surprised no one bailed on the trip. I read these post about big groups going over and I am shocked people find so many people to go. I can never find anyone to join me. I had a hunt for 2 in 2023...
It's still a work in progress as I have done most of the work myself other then hiring out block and concrete, trusses set, and wrapped in metal. It's 32' x 48' with 12' walls. The trusses are scissor trusses so that gives about 16' to the peak. All the walls are insulated and covered with 1/2"...
I hunted in 2018 with these guys in New Mexico. I drew my first year. No preference points in new Mexico. Killed a 340" 6x6 on the last day of a 5 day rifle hunt. The owner Justin knows his stuff. Grew up in NM and is a forest firefighter there also. Can't go wrong with him.
