My best advice regarding Searcy is to stay as far away as possible from this brand!!! EJ

It weighs between ten and eleven pounds. Currently, I do not have access to a digital scale, however I did weight it a long time ago and remember it being over ten but less than eleven. It is the proper weight for a stopping rifle of this caliber and power. EJ

I will have to weigh the rifle. Brass is easily formed by necking up 404 Jeff to .458 caliber and fireforming. I have dies, however I am unable to access them at the moment so no dies with the rifle at this time. EJ

Look at the proof marks. Are the proof marks original or restamped? Also, weight the barrels and what is the overall weight? Has there been weight added to the buttstock? There were a lot of nitro hammer underlever doubles made, however there will be signs indicating it is BPE or NE. EJ
