PHOENIX PHIL
AH ambassador
My younger son and I hunted with Jacques in 2015 including KZN as well as the NW province. Then my wife and I did something of an unexpected trip last year. Well when that got planned I decided to have the 2015 taxidermy held anticipating more.
Trophies cleared this week in Los Angeles. Normally I go pick it up myself and save a bit on shipping charges. But I am so swamped at work now trying to finish up a project, I decided to have it trucked. That decision was made yesterday and I wasn't anticipating arrival her in Phoenix until Monday. Well this morning I got a call and it was here.
I used Africa San taxidermy and they from what I can tell did a nice job. It was nice that for once I was listened too when I told them not to fix any flaws. I want the animals to look just as they did when I took them. I've not had a chance to unwrap the skull mounts yet, so jury is still out on those. Hopefully get to those tomorrow.
I was very pleased with the crating job and as always amazed how they get all of those animals in such a tight space.
A few preliminary pics.
