I've always wanted an LPR! Not long ago I had been looking for an Ed Brown Damara 300 WM (seemingly impossible to find) to replace one I foolishly sold a number of years ago to take to Africa for plains game. At the end of that search, I ran across an ad for this rifle that was purchased new by a very well respected member from another site I frequent. I bought it from him intending to take it to Africa last summer. For the last 25 years my work has taken me there virtually every year and I have hunted in some fashion on each of those trips (each time in Zimbabwe or Namibia). Now however my work is being expanded to several other countries. Taking my firearms through multiple borders and dealing with the issues of each country's regulations and secure storage while in-country is a nightmare that virtually assures me that it is highly unlikely that my firearms will be accompanying me to the dark continent in the future.

I have numerous other rifles for the hunting I do here in the states that doesn't often necessitate more than my 6.5 and 7PRC's and my .308's can deliver.
All I can say is that if you want a .300 Win Mag that is pleasant to shoot and as accurate as you can hold, this Lane Precision Rifle will not disappoint!

A couple of details I failed to include:
Twist is 1:10
Round count is between 150 and 200. These barrels are expected to go well beyond 3,000 rounds easily with the 300 Win Mag and normal care.

If some plains game is in your future, this one would be hard to beat!

Final reduction before I keep it...$3550 shipped CONUS

Someone is missing out on a fantastic rifle here! A reasonable offer might make it your's! I will be taking it off the market if it doesn't sell in the next few days.

I'm going to keep it, too nice to sacrifice

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
