For any of you 375 shooters...here's a link to a sale on 375 H&H ammo. I talked with Colorado Buck by way of my friend Amy at Pro Hunt Concierge and he said the ammo is manufactured in the USA by a company in Montana. CTD is one of his sponsors and this is a promotion for the new line. I haven't tested the ammo yet,(it arrives Monday), but I'll report my findings on it next week.

Ammo .375 H&H Colorado Buck Signature Series Accubond 300 Grain 20 Round Box, 2500 fps. CB375HH-300gr-AB

Cheers, Bill

SO I made it out to the range today....used irons only....I hate shooting from the bench! I took a box of this stuff and a box of Federal Blue 300GR Sp. My control was a box of Hornady 270, an ammo my Brno likes. I thought it was my eyes and maybe I'm just getting to that point, now mind you this wasn't scientific or anything. 50 yds Hornady 2 touching in the bull. Federal 2 rounds 1 inch apart 2 inches low. This stuff 3 rounds 2 inches low about a 2-3 inch spread. Took it out to 100yds. Fed and the new stuff shot low, the Hornady was spot on. My impressions....good ammo for the money. Not the most accurate in my rifle. Will hit what I aim at. Will probably kill most anything you point it at. Truths....I hate shooting at the bench & I guess I need to scope my rifle....DARN IT! :crying: I will always love iron sights....I'm just an old fogey.

I know exactly how you feel. Put a peep sight on it. I' ve got one on my #1 .45-70 and an old Armstrong (like a Lyman 48 only better) on my .416 Rigby. I love 'em.

By the way, thanks for the alert about the sale, but Cheaper 'n Dirt won't ship ammo to Massachusetts. There is no real actual law that says you can't, but the people in Boston made the laws and edicts pertaining to such so complicated and obfuscated a lot of vendors get scared off. Midway is like that too.

I really love Ammo to Go and others who stand up and don't let the suits scare them from doing their legal business.

I had a gift from a satisfied customer last week.....an Aimpoint 1x4 30mm. I put in some Talley rings and as soon as I get over this bloody cold I'll go give it a try.

The law is wrong. Doesn't matter what we, as the minority, think. As far as the general public is concerned, the PC crowd is right and us "dinosaurs" need to go the way of the "dodo" quietly. Very few places actually have firearms freedom, if any.

I wish I was a better typist, I'd put my whole manifesto on the net. (LOL)

I'm right there with you. Do you know how frustrating this can be? Well, I'll tell you what the majority of online vendors' policy is regarding shipping to Massachusetts, home of Lexington and Concord.

I cannot order the following from MOST of the online vendors because they think it's illegal to ship: Ammunition. Brass (empty cartridges). Powder (smokeless and black). Lead in the form of bullets. Lead in the form of BALLS, which could only be used in muzzleoading weapons which are LEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES BY FEDERAL LAW.

Are you getting an inkling of how frustrating this can be? Luckily over the past year or more I've found "good guys" to order everything from.

I hear you pardner.

Do Adam 12 stand for what I think it do?

Sorry....used to be a cop once and thought that's what it implied  Sorry

Please, no apology needed! I have only respect for the police, and all 3 of the cops I used to shoot handguns with back in the 90's were really stand-up guys. Hats off to you for your service.

I sure wish I knew how that ammo would shoot in my CZ, that is a good price for ammo.

I bought a box and tried it out today, my CZ 550 was shooting 1" groups with the ammo. So I was super happy with it!

Sounds like you are getting good success out of some reasonably priced ammo. Congrats.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
