Got some H4350 to try out on my 375 using some 270gr speer for plinkers. Did 2charges 78g and 79g.

78g was averaging 2712 fps and the 79g was 2740 fps.

No powder compression on the 78g, but the 79g ever so slightly kissed the powder

Need to do some 300gr grain loads next. Anyone else use H4350? if so what's your load preference?

I’m curious as to the replies you get, as I’ll eventually get to reloading for my 375h&h.
Did you do velocity ladders or anything like that to start, or pick a couple charge weights and seeking a specific velocity?

Max was 80, so I did 3 rounds each at 78 and 79 just to see what the FPS was coming in at on my rifle, 26" bbl. So now I'll do .2 increments from 78 to 79 and see how they group at 100yds

My plains game load in my 375 Win M70 is 80 grains of H4350 and a 270 grain Woodleigh @ a smidge over 2,700 fps. Clover leaf 3 shot groups at 100 yards and no pressure signs even at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Flattened wildebeest, warthog and impala each with one shot on my last SA hunt

I'm looking forward to seeing more replies to this thread. I've been fiddling around with H-4350 and 300 Gr. bullets but so far haven't come up with the accuracy I'm looking for. I have three 375 H&H(s) and was hoping to get / find a load that shot well in all of them.

I started out with 760 but switched to Winchester Staball 6.5 Because of temperature sensitivity. I started working up my load in the winter and by summer I had a couple sticky cases With the 760, along with about 100 fps increase in velocity. The staball 6.5 powder and 300 gn Swift A/frame worked well for me in Moz last year.

I load RL15 at 67 gr using Barnes 300 gr TSX and that is 2475 fps. This out of my Winchester Model 70. Clover leafs 3 rounds at 100 yards.

I have a good load I worked up with H380 and 270 grain Swift A-frames.

I am exploring IMR4064, prices what they are if I get the same results with a powder that requires less powder than my good old WW760 I’m going to switch.
Varget is another I’ll try.

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!

Hello. If you haven't already sold this rifle then I will purchase. Please advise. Thank you.

I doubt you are interested in any trades but I was getting ready to list a Sauer 404 3 barrel set in the 10-12 price range if your interested. It has the 404J, 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. Only the 30-06 had been shot and it has 7 rounds through it as I was working on breaking the barrel in. It also has both the synthetic thumbhole stock and somewhere between grade 3-5 non thumbhole stock
